I can still make an impact.
I have changed all of my light bulbs – I recycle everything (my garbage night is much smaller now)I have put insulation around my hot water tank – I’ve installed new windows and doors and new furnace (energy efficient)I don’t use my car to make unnecessary trips and I have a 2000 Honda Civic very fuel efficient – it really upsets me to see all of the SUV’s on the road in this country – it’s really sad.
I have been recycling for many years and seeing your film makes me happy to see even though I am one person that I can still make an impact.
Thank you for developing such a film that has tremendously impacted my life. I think it should be mandatory for everyone to see this film including the kids in school – this is not only our future but theirs. Thank you again!!!

We are destroying our grandkids world, before they are born.
I watched your film on the Sundance channel. I am telling everyone I know to watch it and Pass It On. We are selling our 2nd car (Ford F150). We carpool into work, but we’re going back to riding our bikes to our jobs (7 miles away). We do not drive her Volvo ANYWHERE, unless we can stop at other places on the way (and NEVER over the speed limits).
My in-laws grew up in the Depression. They are teaching us how to make a Victory garden in our large backyard. My family and friends think I am obsessed with Peak Oil, but I do not care. It’s here. The purchase of Foreign Oil has to stop. This Planet is doomed if we do not get out of this hole. We are destroying our grandkids world, before they are born.

We’ll keep doing what we can.
Watched the movie once. Will watch again. Our family down to one car. Replaced light bulbs. Use far less water. Replacing remaining car with bicycles for the family and taking the bus. Want to do more. My 12 year old daughter said, “They should show this in school. A person came in but they did not have any detail like this movie Mom.” Today is her first day of summer vacation. We are watching Crude Impact and Wal-Mart High Cost of Low Price. I’m born and grew up in Alaska. Been all over. Want to do more. We clean up the beach when we go, throwing trash away. We don’t leave a footprint if we go to the mountains. Walk to grocery shop, do our banking, library, to school, to the lake & park, to play tennis. We buy used and second hand instead of new when we can.
Wish there was a place here we could grow our own garden foods. How does one buy local when there are no local markets in Everett? We take less showers and turn off the shower in-between scrubbing up to conserve. It seems like you have to be wealthy to do more. We live in an apartment… what more can we do? How can we get our neighbors to conserve and consume less? It would be great to live on a ranch and grow everything and all that, but who has money to buy land these days? Loved the movie. Wish Robert Redford would invite us to the ranch to work and live
My daughter is crazy about horses and wants to be a horse trainer. Anyway, thank you Sundance for this wonderful movie. We’ll watch it again and keep talking as a family about what we can do. Any ideas on the best bicycles to get?
… we’ll keep doing what we can. Environmentalist at heart, hate to see us consume and waste it all for momentary pleasure at others expense and well-being.
